National Operations Manager Responsibilities
Strategic Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth nationwide operations with all KPIs met through effective manpower and route management.
- Manage complete merchandising and execution delivery through operations teams across the country.
Operational Execution
- Plan budgets and manage the complete merchandising delivery system at a national level.
- Ensure KPIs are achieved across all channels and programs in coordination with senior management.
- Drive consistent SOP implementation through Regional Managers and Operations Managers.
- Introduce process improvements aligned with client requirements.
- Develop training modules for merchandising and promotion excellence.
- Monitor budgets and establish economic working norms.
- Ensure legally compliant operational systems across regions.
- Continuously enhance the delivery model for timely, high-quality execution.
- Escalate issues and guide teams for quick resolution.
- Negotiate with clients on salary revisions, incentives, and additional business opportunities.
- Closely monitor MIS and evaluate operational performance reports.
- Conduct monthly reviews with Regional and Operations Managers.
- Drive adoption of best practices and act as a brand ambassador of PPMS.
- Handle additional responsibilities assigned by management as required.
Educational Qualification
Any Graduate Degree (Mandatory)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in operations and large team leadership at a national scale.
- Prior exposure to Retail, FMCG, or QSR industries preferred.
